Love the mean looks and the impressive power of this massive SUV! Oh and I like the doors as well :P
Yesterday I had a test drive with this insane Tesla Model S P90D with ludicrous mode. The continuous acceleration was absolutely stunning and so was the autopilot! Getting back in my gasoline car afterwards felt like going 50 years back in the past...

This is still the first and only Tesla registered in Veliko Tarnovo province.
Photographed in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria.
First time seeing one of these! the 90D has 517BHP believe it or not.
Seen this parked on a golf course! Strange place to park a car like this.
I found the new Tesla Model X today parked at Richards in Greenwich, Connecticut. Let me just say it is absolutely HIDEOUS. It looks like a Telsa Model S had sex with a minivan and this was the offspring. It had temporary plates from New Jersey.
Photographed this electric monster for ride & shine detailing last week! How do you like this photo? And do you like or hate electric vehicles?

After the 'S' it's now time for the 'X'. Or the Model S XXL, because that's how the first SUV of Tesla looks like. Overall it looks pretty good in my opinion. Of course, he is distinguished by his bizarre wing doors, called Falcon-wings. Also the number of horsepower is not really modest. The one above is the top model, the P90D, with no less than 772 (!) bhp.

Twee gafacelifte 'S-jes' werden voor de foto even naast de gloednieuwe Model X gezet. Dit keer met zijn vleugels gespreid.

Two facelifted Tesla's (Model S) were placed especially for some pictures next to the brand new Model X. This time with its wings spread.

At the time, this was probably one of the only/first new Model X's in the UK. This example is actually used as a demonstrator for the Tesla Store in Leeds. It parks at the closest car park to the store, usually along with other Teslas. Interestingly, this example is Dutch registered, first registered in September 2016 (so only a month old at the time of shooting). The front license plate was in the windscreen.
Do any of you like the new Model X? I've actually looked thoroughly at an example that Tesla showcase near their store, and although the gullwing doors are quite an amazing feature, they don't seen too entirely necessary in my opinion. The interior is very similar to the Model S, as is the model-range. I think the Model S is probably still the best car in their model line-up, but we'll have to see how the Model 3 works out when that comes out.

Tesla, maker of high-end electrified automobiles, based in California, is going through a bit of a tough patch at present (October 2018). But for the past ten years, the company's fortunes have only ever looked up.
Some of this was smoke and mirrors - the company is worth more than the Ford Motor Company, despite never having made a profit. The rollout of engineered products though, shows that real progress has been made in creating an electric vehicle consumer product that the customer was willing to pay considerable amounts of money to own.
There was, of course, the original Tesla Roadster (a much modified Lotus), but the real product that catapulted the company to prominence was the Model S, launched in 2012, and now in its sixth year.
The Model S is now the best-selling luxury car in the US.
The car is large, nearly 5.0 m long (196 in), with a long wheelbase, allowing for the package of the large battery. For context, the battery makes up 800 kg or so of the vehicle's 2,250 kg weight. The lightest model S weighed in at 1,961 kg, the P60, with a 60 kw.h battery pack, and reduced range.
Incidentally, the number in the model description represents the battery storage capacity. The largest battery providing energy to the P100D - 100 kW.h, yielding a driving range of approximately 500 km.
The Tesla S has been on my list of vehicle to model for quite a while now, but was a request from Instagram's back2brick, as a custom build, as my 500th Instagram follower.
The Tesla Model S also meets LUGNuts' 104th Build Challenge theme, - "The Science of it All", - for vehicles with science-based names.

Designed by Franz von Holzhausen, the Telsa Model S is a full-sized all-electric five-door luxury liftback, assembled in the USA at Freemont, California and in Europe at Tilburg, Netherlands. The Model S became the first electric car to top the monthly new car sales ranking in any country, twice leading in Norway, in September and December 2013 and in Denmark December 2015.Global Model S sales passed the 150,000 unit milestone in November 2016, with the U.S. as the leading market with 57% of global sales its other leading markets being Norway, China, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Canada, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland..
The Model S was updated with a mid-cycle facelift in April 2016 with black nose cone being replaced with a body coloured facia, with a similar design to the Model X, adding adaptive LED headlights. A HEPA cabin air filtration system was added. The standard charger increased from 40 to 48 amps, and the interior was refreshed
In January 2019, Tesla discontinued the 75D version, making the 100D the base version of the Model S. In an engineering refresh in May 2019, range was increased to 370 mi (600 km) and smart air suspension was added. In February 2020 Tesla increased the range of the Model S to 390
The 90D was introduced in 2016, with a top speed of 155mph and a 0-60mph sprint time of 2.8 seconds, it had a reduced power output but performance improvements are accredited to the improved traction of the all-wheel drive powertrain. The P90D combined a front axle power of 259 horsepower (193 kW) and rear axle power of 503 horsepower (375 kW) with an accerlation of 1.1 g described as faster than falling In June 2017, Tesla discontinued selling the 90 kWh battery pack option
