Sterling Silver, stainless steel pin.

May/June 2011.

 

While creating the Modular Felt Object for my Organic Modular Structures series, I discovered that overlapped these simple units created a really interesting shape. Therefore I produced a sterling silver brooch using these smaller units and soldered them overlapping. Finally I gave this brooch a brass brushed finish.
