Maine is now dusted with snow! Hoping for a white Christmas ♥️
Just a little portrait of very special gifts, they seem to liven the soul especially during these tumultuous times:)
Will catch up slowly but surely.

Trying to remember how to do this... I'm going to need something to console me as I'm taking the camera back now. Like, right now. Honest, I'm getting up to return it immediately
Back to work tomorrow!
just popping in for a bit.
last night i went to a cd release party for Marcie Hernandez www.myspace.com/marciehernandez
wow! amazing stuff.
then we went over to an "artist to artist" shindig at a local club. it was pretty awesome.
been thinkin' a lot about my buddies and just people in general. there's a lot of good ones out there and i just need to tell you all that i appreciate you. a ton.
one of Marcie's songs, entitled "the last song" is all about friendships, and i can't help but dedicate it to my friends.
some of the lyrics:
"I get by w/ a little help from my friends" (borrowed from someone sorta famous--but sung in a completely different way)
"the love between us is everlasting"
"friends come to my aid when i don't know what to say"
xo
oh, and ps. she's playing at mark's art opening on august 7th too.
Inspired by scallop holden. I was invited to attempt some golf again after 15+ years of inactivity. Tried to take a good pic or two to leave being proud of something. ;)

Traveled home on the same plane as Madonna. True story...
I had something very different in mind for this edit. But, that's what happens when you're way behind schedule and unable to retake a 365 shot. I miss Photoshop. Lightroom is freeing in a lot of ways. But, if you aren't in PS every day you sort of loose your touch. I guess you have to have a better image to start off with than this. Oh well. ;)
