Like Quantock Motors , Lewis Coaches ( Stalbridge ) Ltd have a PSV operator's licence for 4 vehicles and run vintage vehicles. They acquired this 1962 Bedford SB3 / Duple Super Vega C37F in April 2018 from Len Wright , New Costessey. It was new to Crimson , St Ives in August 1962 and is in their livery rather than Lewis' maroon livery like their other three coaches.

Today it is taking part in the 2019 Minehead Vintage Bus Running Day organized by Quantock Motors and Taunton Historic Bus Group. It is leaving Minehead Railway Station on the 14.25 Excursion.

Having been delivered new in August 1962 to Crimson it passed to Bird’s Coaches of Hunstanton in April 1965 when Crimson Tours sold their business to E & B Stevens of St Ives (t/a Blue Coaches). Crimson continued to specify petrol engined vehicles rather than diesel, as the former gave their passengers a smoother and quieter ride. Although the E&T licences passed to Stevens, they only acquired one of the former Crimson vehicles (141 ECV - Bedford SB3/Duple) the others being sold off separately. Both concerns were primarily coach operators, but following a relaxation in the regulations governing the use of minibuses during the late 1950s, they had started running summer seasonal services from outlying car parks into the centre of St Ives and to the various St Ives beaches using Morris J2 type vehicles, a forerunner of the Park & Ride schemes we see today.

675OCV was sold to Lodge , High Easter for ongoing preservation in August 2020.

Martinair Holland - Boeing 767-33A/ER - PH-MCJ (c/n 25535/491)

This aircraft has had a multitude of operators since first entering service with TACA (Transportes Aéreos del Continente Americano) in May 1993 as N768TA, then Vietnam Airlines (VH-NOE), EgyptAir, Air France (F-GKAU), Air Namibia (V5-NMB), Avianca (Aerovías del Continente Americano / Aerovías Nacionales de Colombia) as VH-NOE, Britannia, Air Seychelles, back again with Avianca (N535AW), EuroAtlantic Airways (CS-TLM), Aviajet, back to EuroAtlantic, initially with Martinair in April 2005 as CS-TLM, before gaining its current registration in July 2005.

UPDATE (September 2016) - Martinair withdrew this aircraft from operation in March 2011, prior to Martinair ceasing passenger service in October 2011. The aircraft would be re-registered as S2-AFX and enter operation with GMG Airlines in August 2011. It would then change registration to N535AW and go to lessor Ansett Worldwide Aviation Services (AWAS) in May 2012. AWAS would then lease the aircraft, now registered as CS-TRN, to EuroAtlantic Airways in August 2013. It would then be leased to Med-View Airlines in September 2014, before returning to EuroAtlantic in October 2014. FlyNas would then next lease the airplane in September 2015, before it once more returning to EuroAtlantic in October 2015.

UPDATE (March 2019) - On Jul 3, 2017 this aircraft would enter service with Azur Air Germany, re-registered as D-AZUC. It would then be withdrawn from service on July 22, 2018. It then began operation with Azur Air Ukraine, as UR-AZD, August 22, 2018.

Municipal operators are an increasing rarity these days, however in Cheshire two council owned companies operate right next to each other.

Halton Borough Transport, or Widnes Corporation in old money this year celebrates it's centinary, and has a fleet of 65 single decker buses, with an average vehicle age of 6.76 years.

This Smooth Billed Ani may not win any beauty contests but it is still a very interesting bird, especially if you can get a close up view of the bill. These guys live primarily in savannahs in Central and South America and southern Florida.

Like other anis, the Smooth-billed Ani lives in small groups of one to five breeding pairs, and up to seventeen individuals. They defend a single territory and lay their eggs in one communal nest. All group members incubate the eggs and care for the young.

Elevators are a part of officer goers’ daily life. But Amar Jeet’s office cabin is actually an elevator in a New Delhi high-rise. Our lift operator belongs to Najibabad, a town in North India that is famous for the legendary dacoit Sultana Daku. But Mr Jeet sleeps at night without any fear. This is because he has been living in dacoit-less Delhi for many years. His parents have passed away but he shares his home in East Delhi’s Khichdipur with his younger sister Priya. Mr Jeet insists he has no girlfriend… I saw him recently… at his day-job den somewhere in Delhi.

Hassi Messaoud, Algeria - Hassi Messaoud is a town in eastern Algeria. Oil was discovered here in 1956 and the town's prominence has grown rapidly since then. It is an oil refinery town named after the first well. A water well, dug in 1917, can be found on the airport side of town.
