Picture for the MacroMondays group theme on December 17th, 2012: Leaves.
Tea may be one of most popular drinks made by leaves. One of my favorites is oolong tea. It is produced through a unique process including withering under the strong sun and oxidation before curling and twisting. In this shot, you can find a tightly rolled tea with a light, distinctive fragrance.

I visited one of the most famous Tea farm areas of Taiwan last week where grows some of the best Oolong tea. It was around its harvest time and we could learn the process of making tea leave there. The valley with curvy tea farm is so photogenic and dramatic.
