I hear removing ugly electrical wires from your photos with the latest updates in Photoshop is child's play. I'm still using NX Studio in which I tried removing ugly bits without much success, so the viewer willl have to put up with this!

Another from my retirement project of documenting my hometown of Wokingham, Berks. Single RAW HDR blended with original. This is Chestnut Avenue. I originally thought these two trees were oaks but the giveaway may be in the name of the road! Tree identification is much easier when you can examine the leaves.

A friend asked me to evaluate the D700. I bought one recently but so disliked the loud shutter sound, I wanted to immediately sell it. But, one day when all the lawns were being mowed, I took it out and could barely hear the shutter over all the noise!

To try to compare the output accurately, I used Nikon software to process the images. I used standard picture control with the various sliders untouched. That is what you see in these two photos.

Later, I processed them to taste. I used the neutral picture control for both but adjusted the sliders some. I liked all four results! And, I enjoyed using the Nikon software.

The fun stuff comes when someone is not so strict on sticking to the script. You're allowed the spontaneity, and great moments can happen.

This image is of the lovely Myah Larkin. An absolute pleasure to photograph. I loved the whole day. Could not ask for a better group to have to the privilege to work with.

I will post images from the workshop as I process them.

Shot with the Nikon Z6III using the 135mm Plena. Post processed wit NX Studio and Photoshop CC Beta. Lit with an Amaran 300c and Tc2 tube light.
