I found this picture I took over a year ago after getting a haircut. I had played with it to make me look that flawless. It's one of those picture my grandkids will look at and say, "Oh, my God. I can't believe granny/mamaw/memaw/grandma/whatever-they-call-me looked like that when she was young." Newsflash. She didn't.
P. S. If I ever, by a miracle, became or musician of some sort, I'd put this on the cover of my CD. What a joke.
Wanted to do one of these. Newsflash... It is harder than it looks. Some decent lighting would have been a plus. Took about 350 shots. This is the best. It is not so great. Oh well. Back to the drawing board...

My host sister Seiko and her little brother Hirotoshi(Seiko is the one in the grey sweater with the glasses, Hirotoshi is in front of her) went to calligraphy lessons and brought me along. I said I'd be fine just watching and the teacher was like "NO YOU WILL DECORATE A FAN!!!!!!" so I decorated a fan with some magical calligraphy. Newsflash: I suck at calligraphy! But this was fun and cute. My sexy hair compliments of unbelievable humidity.

Mr. Lion: Mr. Might-be Vampire? Are you there? Look into my eyes.
Carrot's voice: Er ... he is there but not there but Carrot is. What's up?
Mr. Lion: OK Carrot, look into my eyes and tell me.
Carrot: What?
Mr. Lion: Is Mr. Might-be Vampire really going to visit my neighbor?
Carrot: Er.. can't answer though. Why do I need to look into your eyes?
Mr. Lion: Because it's harder to lie when you have another person look into your eyes, I think? But oh so you don't know too. I wish I could meet Mr. Might-be Vampire in the near future. After all I've heard so many things about him I'm really curious about him. And I'll check his bag whether he has any treat or strange things.
Carrot: No no, he won't have anything strange or things you dislike in his bag.
(Latest news flash! into Mr. Lion's eyes!)
Mr. Lion: He hasn't visited yet and he already has something odd I suspect. Do you have a twin Carrot? Or is there a you here and a you there?
Carrot: Why do you ask?
Mr. Lion: The newsflash I got is that he got a dog that looks just like you but you are here..?
Carrot: Though I'm here, it's my voice only. My soul and my physical being is still with Mr. Might-be Vampire. He can multi-task, so can I.
Mr. Lion: He is asking you to do some work while you are talking to me here?
Carrot: Yes, he asked me to reach the top cabinet shelf to get his thumb-drive and I'm trying to reach it. Ah ... it's really hard actually. *panting*
Mr. Lion: Don't force yourself too much. Might sprain your back.
Carrot: That's very kind of you. I know my limits. I won't hit the ceiling and break it!

Quite a big spider we've been stalking in our back garden. This lad has only gone and got himself some prime real estate in the form of a large dense hedge which he's totally colonised with his web which now looks like something resembling total carnage - he eats everything including bee's
He's a wuss though, the 1st sign of either of us approaching and he'll return to the funnel in his web of safety...
