One of my favorite mods is the one where you shave down the barrel parts (Russian Roulette Mod) so you can load 5 darts at a time, compared to the stock 2 reloaded at a time.
So for Christmas, my niece asked everyone for a Nerf Rebelle, a bow and arrow set for girls. She received three. At least they were different colors, and could play with her cousins!
This is most of the stuff I got for Christmas! Well all the toys / spending /entertainment stuff.
I hope to get some 2011 BPs with the money!
(Any comments saying Airsoft or Paintball is better than Nerf will be removed)
Photography, Lighting and photo manipulation are all great tools for brining a kids imagination to life.
Everyone knows that when your a kid your brain fills in what's missing from reality.. this was try at making the foam shooting Nerf gun a bit more exciting :D.
For anyone following http://photoodyssey2012.com/ you will have seen this a day early, its worth checking out as there are photographers from all over the world as part of the project :).
Lighting
A strobe with warming gel in-front of the gun and pointing towards my step-son and a strobe to his right to act as a rim.

Mussel flash and some wisp's of smoke added in post, as well as some color correction as the gel was a little off (got it free at my old work.)
I disassembled this Barricade a bit (not all the way!) to see how much space is inside for 'additions'.
The completed gun! The laser is just a gimmick, since the gun isn't very accurate.
The new spring, however, has made the gun almost too powerful. It rocks!
