Finally had some Crocus flowers pop up in the yard. They closed before I had a chance to get any better shots, so I'll give it another try tomorrow. The focus was also off slightly.
This shot was done with my E-M5 and my Canon FL mount 28mm lens with the addition of the Little Big Shot Image Amplifier. The lens was set to f/8.

A "just because you rock" gift for my e. twin. Yo-yo and button flowers, handstitched stems, I didn't turn the edges of the "grass" under so that it would have a frayed effect.
It's my birthday.
And it's the end of my 365days project.
I did it. Sort of.
I missed a few days, but not many, and I didn't post all of the self-portraits, but I did it. Yay.
It's amazing what can happen in a year.
In one year I've:
- Had work appear in a gallery.
- Have had work scheduled to appear in a show next year
- Got a part-time job
- Made a lot of friends on Flickr (yay).
- Painted my room a different color after years of indecision (yay).
I don't really know what to say, other than it's been an experience doing the project. I've come to a much better understanding of what my face looks like, if that's anything I've learned, I've learned about how my expressions look to the outside world, and I'd definitely say that the project has made me much more aware of what face I present to the outside world. I can't say I really learned anything deep from it, but I guess I could say it's helped me accept some of my flaws, and not worry about them so much any more.
So now. It's over. Yay.
And tomorrow: the start of a week in New York. Jen. The Rustafarians. My e-mail friend Jim, and the Hudson River Valley and its countless ruins.
Yay.

I made this bag because I really needed a diaper bag for my newborn baby. I decided to make it so can put everything I wanted in it.
I designed it and didn't use a pattern.
With a 6-week old baby and no sewing experience it was difficult to get started, but when I finally finished it I was very happy with the result.
To describe my bag a little bit: it has 3 inside pockets (one big one especially for diapers), 2 outside pockets, a water bottle holder and a key holder.
I put all my effort and love into it. My little baby girl was my inspiration!

I like the emotion of this picture. Everyone is as they are! :)
It was.. fantastical evening! We had so much fun. After i'd met my friend i found Riinu again. She was sitting back of some guys. One of them was photographing Riinu. We had thirst and we decided to buy some drink, so we left. A little time after we'd left we saw that they'd left too. We walked near of them and i decided to take a photo of them. After that one of them came to ask, how could they see the photos. So i gave them my e-mail. They talked with us. They asked where're the best pubs and other places in Kuressaare. They told us that they're from ship Sakala and they invited me and Riinu to they're ship in Roomassaare seaport. Well, first it made fun to us. So, we left again. When we went home, our relative told that he and his son was going to look the ship Sakala in Roomassaare seaport next day and asked if we'd like to go with them. We were really surprised. We went! And we saw two of them. I think it was the top moment of this trip! :)
In this pic, I added an aluminum spacer (Ace Hardware) to mount the bracket. The rear of the e-brake bracket mounts on to your hood hinge bolts. Just so you know, you'll have to remove them once you go to install your hood hinges..unless you mount your hinges at the same time. The two minor mods i made were all so that I could have my e-brake pedal as far left as possible. I did not want to drill additional holes in my firewall since I recently smoothed it.

The first try at night train photography with my newly acquired E-PL6, replacing my E-PL5 which died a year or so ago, but still using the brilliant 20mm f1.9 Lumix lens. 323205 heading the 22.54 to Longbridge from Butlers Lane station.
My friend, MJ Lewandowski, restored this cool baggage cart for his eagle project. It is really cool to see a restored baggage cart because most of them are falling apart.

Boring shot but SOOC JPEG @ ISO 5000 with the camera's JPEG noise filter turned off. It looks about the same as ISO800 on my E-P1. Olympus OM-D E-M5.
After a very long wait my Sony A7RMk2 arrived. It is 42Mg full frame camera and unfortunately my E-Mount lenses [with one exception] are not designed for full-frame photography. Anyway I decided to use my original Sony 50mm [1.8] lens with the camera set to nonâcropped mode to see what the resulting images might look like. As expected there was Vignetting but it was much more pronounced than I had hoped for so I decided to exaggerate the effect by post-processing in Lightroom. The next stage of the experiment will be to set the camera to cropped mode. I will do this later this week.
