Here is a picture of my little room in Vienna, you could see that my wife (and plastic-Daughter) was away, since I ate cereal drank coffee and beer on the floor in my room, while painting, the painting to the far left in the image is one I can´t even remember painting, I kind of like it, I wonder where it went???
The computer on the floor is the family computer which I worked with mostly, since I posted thing on the interweb and as here on the image checked my E-mail...
My room was really a mess, I had far to many things and had to do far to many different things on a minute surface and also my mental state and health was rapidly falling in a whirlpool down a dark black vortex of a void...

After a very long wait my Sony A7RMk2 arrived. It is 42Mg full frame camera and unfortunately my E-Mount lenses [with one exception] are not designed for full-frame photography. Anyway I decided to use my original Sony 50mm [1.8] lens with the camera set to non—cropped mode to see what the resulting images might look like. As expected there was Vignetting but it was much more pronounced than I had hoped for so I decided to exaggerate the effect by post-processing in Lightroom. The next stage of the experiment will be to set the camera to cropped mode. I will do this later this week.
Just got extremely lucky with this capture. Hope this is a poignant photo, sure is to me.

1. Yesterday my mother and father sent two face-down pictures to my e-mail from their holiday trip.
2. My mother's birthday is really tomorrow, but since I already kind of blew it by sending her an happy birthday message by SMS today (my electronic calendar messed up, and I'm really bad in remembering any dates), I might as well execute this idea too. The picture will be here tomorrow too.
I couldn't avoid getting the camera/tripod shadow in the picture so I tried to make it work somehow with it in the picture.

This is really a lovely lens and a great pleasure to have. But what I want to share with my flckr friends is that this was my very first time Craigslist experience. I was a bit nervous knowing I was going out to meet a stranger and buy something from him. Great grand thanks to Eric, who shared his important Craigslist experiences with me. Ok, I just followed the advice, a public place (I chose Starbucks for I could bear with a decafe at least), try first (So I brought my E-P1 and tried 100 shootings first). Things turned out to be a pleasant deal and the seller was a nice guy, too.

Just found this retro viewfinder off ebay for cheap. The seller took the viewfinder off his rangefinder and sell them separately. I of course appreciate that because I do not want another rangefinder body.
I believe Taron was a brand back in the 50s or 60s (before I was even born so pardon me if I get the years wrong. :D). So putting it on my E-P1 is just about right in term of retro look.
There are 2 sets of marking, one for 35mm and 1 for 75mm lens. However, if you push the viewfinder all the way in to the hotshoe slot,, the view of the 35mm matches my Panasonic Lumix 20mm f1.7 very well.
The coating is a bit off (well, half a century old stuff, can't be perfect) so using indoor with yellow-color lighting is a tiny bit hard but I'm not buying this to be used indoor. It's more for outdoor when the LCD can be somewhat hard to see. And considering the price I got it for, not much to complain about.
