This is an excellent colour wheel. It is a useful size and has been precisely cut. Your method of rendering is appropriate and neatly done with a good definition of colour. It has been clearly labelled and laminated beautifully. 40/40

(I used acrylic paint, this was my second attempt due to brown indigo first time and it was also worth using a compass cutter for better circles.)

This is an excellent start to technical drawing. The corners meet accurately and the inking is neat with a smooth, continuous line quality. A few small points which could enhance your drawing/surveying are: to do enlarged sketches of smaller details as well as the sketch elevations. Keep the key and title block separate. As you have a choice where to put the title block and key in relationship to your drawing they could be lined up slightly better. Perhaps the lettering on plan could be slightly smaller. 37/40

21.5/25 Tutor's comments: You have produced an extremely thorough and well thought out questionnaire. The questionnaire covers every aspect required when meeting clients. In reality the time you spend with a client can be limited and therefore you need to gain as much information as quickly as possible. Some of your questions may benefit from having more tick boxes so the client can move through the questions with speed. When working on particular rooms, be more specific with the questions.

Triple Aught Design production Dauntless and the TAD EKey are not compatible despite the fact that these two items are propriety products from the same design house. :-(

Standard of survey sheet/understanding of requirements:

Again loads of detail, this is brilliant. There may be an easier way to present this maybe with ‘chapters’ for each element and sheet dividers so you can quickly get to the information you need when refering back.

Presentation: (Max 5)

Very professional. Some space for drawings and to include photos would be advisable.

Hot-modded lavalamp...pimp my illumination.

Questionnaire

19/20 Tutor's commemts: You have produced a beautiful first concept board and should be very pleased. You have answered the brief very accurately and captured a light, airy "west coast" feel. All the colours work well together giving a very fresh palette. When sourcing images always keep them as abstract as possible. The centre image is lovely but very obviously that is a person. Cropping images and enlarging them is a good way to highlight colour and texture. Extremely well presented c. board with clear, bright & well stuck down images. Overall great layout & good use of branding.

Tutor's comments;

The standard and quality of the colour wheel is superb. The overall standard and quality of the overlays is exceptional and to a very high finish, which gives them a very professional look.

40 out of 40

13/15. It echoes light, airy, unstructured and spacious. Nicely presented but client name should go lower left hand side and designer name on the right.

Again an excellent set of drawings and some of the comments from above also apply here. 37/40

Query: Thinking of your biggest regrets, if you could have a free do-over for one of them, what would you do differently?

Follow Up: Now, technically through the power of semantics, I don't need to answer this question with what I would redo. Easily I could say, "Nothing. If things were to change in my past, most likely, my future won't be the same and therefore I may never be who I am now."

But we're going to pretend it says, "Thinking of your biggest regrets, you have a free do-over for one of them that you must follow through with, what would you do differently?"

So!

A big portion of yesterday was spent thinking about this and what repercussions those changes would have realistically to my life. Frankly, I don't believe in fucking with time, but since I have to make a change, it would be doing better in high school (by doing better I mean trying) and subsequently going to college directly afterwards. As of late, I've been self teaching myself algebra so when I go back to school I can hopefully test higher in the math portion and knock off a quarter worth of maths.

Know here's the issue with this all. If I did go to college, I would probably be living with my mother during that whole time as I would only be able to afford community college. Living with my mother would mean I would not be able to be the person I am due to her religious beliefs. Gays and Mormons don't go well together, believe it or not.

The reason I would redo that though really has to deal with time. If I was to go after a Doctorates then like I may now, I might have been done in about three-ish years from now. About twenty-seven. Now, if we assume nine years, I'm looking at being thirty-three-ish. Also known as the time I would really like to settle down and start thinking about maybe having my own family unit, not starting a new career.

But it's too late now. So it's just trekking onward and figuring it out day by day. It's all one can do, I guess.

Another nice plan, being such a small room you might consider drawing this in a larger scale such 1:20 to fill the page and this might also make the details easier to draw. You have included most of the details such as taps and shower heads, also ensure that the basin waste and toilet flush are indicated. Any other details such as mirrors or extractor fans should also be included.
