Tutor's comments;
The board relates well to the brief and you have chosen some good abstract images that conjure up the images and ambience that you are hoping to achieve in the space. The presentation is good, but do take care when choosing coloured boards to mount your images on.

18..5/20 Tutor's comments: You have produced a very clear and concise survey sheet. You have included everything apart from a job number. Using a job number is a quick and easy way to allocate projects, it definitely helps with filing. Having filled out your own one you can see really how it helps you in a survey. Really lovely to see this as an addition to your project. Very well presented. Clear and easy to navigate rooms, good use of tick boxes and record of photos / sketches.

"This is an excellent and very comprehensive questionnaire that is beautifully presented to create a professional and positive first impression. You have clearly given a lot of thought to the questions that will help you to understand your client's likes and dislikes. You have also covered the majority of points that you would need to discuss with your client.
You have a section at the start of the questionnaire which asks about your clients colour preferences. However the brief asks for a separate list of questions for each room and to avoid general questions regarding colours as your client may have different preferences for each room.
The window treatment section should be broken down further. So rather than saying "blinds", include tick boxes for the different type of blinds - blackout; roman; roller; venetian etc.
Don't forget that as well as determining the furniture requirements for each room, you also need to list what currently exists and whether it is to be kept. "
This is an excellent questionnaire Wendy - well done. You have prepared a very comprehensive and thorough document which will stand you in good stead when you begin to work as a professional interior designer ... To enhance it further you could add a few additional tick box options in the window treatment section. Also be aware a few questions overlap her and could be more appropriate in the survey sheet. 24/25
