Took this during one of the races at the Mini O's tournament at Gatorback MX in Alachua Florida. It was my brother's very first National Race and he did really really well. This is one of his friends, Drew!

Palazzo Gussoni Grimani Della Vida, a refined Renaissance gem on Venice’s Grand Canal, was built in the mid-1500s for the Gussoni family and likely designed by Michele Sanmicheli. Its balanced façade once featured frescoes by Tintoretto, depicting allegories of Dawn and Dusk, while the courtyard held mythological scenes by Giovanni Battista Zelotti. The palace hosted cultural salons and notable guests, including English diplomat Sir Henry Wotton, reflecting its role as both residence and intellectual retreat.
Ownership passed through the Minio and Grimani families before reaching the Dalla Vida family in 1816, marking a rare nod to Venice’s Jewish heritage. Though privately owned and closed to visitors, the palace’s elegant exterior and layered history offer a quiet counterpoint to nearby landmarks like Ca’ d’Oro and the Jewish Ghetto, an understated reminder of Venice’s rich, multifaceted past.
