The Peperomia argyreia is also know as the watermelon begonia. It has very beautiful blossoms, totally minimalistic with no petals at all.
I have a real miniature peperomia and I think they'll look cute on a side by side photo ; ).
The leaves are beautiful and I hope I got the look right. What I especially love about the Peperomia are its curved stems, it gives the plant a dancer like aura... : )
well it's my first attempt at the fake miniature thingy...I'm not so sure about the results, but I wanted to post it...thanks larigan for the inspiration!
First attempt at miniature cakes. Madeira cake filled with raspberry jam and buttercream layer, then covered and decorated with fondant.

The Re-ment Addicts Group did a Color Theme Challenge quite some time ago, but I didn't have time to do it. I was inspired by all of the great photos they did, so now that I have a lot of time on my hands, I decided it would be fun to do. I am going to do the whole rainbow, and probably post way more photos than I should!
I doubt that I will have any other color with this many items. Re-ment makes a lot if blue things. This one was a lot of fun, but the drawback was the amount of time it took to gather all if the things from so many different sets. Also, I kept knocking things over on the top shelf of the cabinet and in the fridge! I also dropped the sewing set and a box of markers on the floor. Having to do the majority of it one-handed was also a little challenging, but I'm committed now! Two down, four to go! : (Unless I decide to do pink and maybe a black/white/silver, haha.)
In both fore and aft gratings I carefully cut away plastic openings to receive the wood ladders. This is one of the features that highlight these miniatures -bringing realism to the subject.
In French "moche" means "ugly" and it sounds a little like "mush". So my BF made the stupid joke "t'es mush" ("you're mush") when he saw me wearing mushrooms...
Anyway!
I was inspired by Alice in Wonderland for these and just needed about 1 year to create what I had in my head. And there you go "only" "simple" mushrooms :)
Wonder why I needed 1 year to make mushrooms? I'm lacking of time :D
"T'es mush"
Blague (pourrie) de ma charmante meilleure moitié me voyant couverte de bijoux "champignons".
Bref!
De petits champignons inspirés du film Alice au Pays des merveilles.
Et oui, j'ai mis 1 an avant de réaliser ce qui me trottait dans la tête.
Une efficacité sans précédent :D

I did this small painting this morning and entered it in a local show. If you look at my previous post, you will see I used the second design idea for this painting.
3x3 inch (7.6x7.6 cm) canvas, Golden acrylics and media, 3/8 flat brush.
Nothing new, just a new picture.
Rain, rain, rain. I wonder if the summer will come back tomorrow, I'd like to walk along the sea a little ^^

My dog Archie the Miniature Schnauzer arguably looking his best just after a full groom.
I always love how proud he looks after a fur cut so i took the opportunity to get some photos. For me this one was the keeper :)
Ha! I had so much fun with that picture :)
Sometimes ideas can get to life really quickly. This is such an example :)
All the food is handmade by myself.
I bought the cart somewhere on ebay.
Continuing our miniature Oribana project... and here is another artwork for our mini-oribana called CAPRICE from the Oribana Delight collection.
The vase is just 2 inches (5 cm) high and the whole Oribana arrangement is just 4.5 inches (11cm) high.
The starring paper plants designed by Katrin are Orchid Pleione, Daisies, Yellow Lobelias and Pine Tree's Branch. The container design is Vase 'Caprice' by Yury. Used wonderful Japanese papers for plants and Swedish paper for the vase.
Note for origami enthusiasts: The step-by-step diagrams on how to fold the composition are published in our ORIBANA DELIGHT
www.oriland.com/store/collections/oribana_delight/main.php Happy folding!
I just learned what a tilt-shift miniature image is and thought I'd give it a go. These were processed in Photoshop.

I made these for my mom recently and now that they were delivered to her I want to show everyone! The record player was made from a tutorial from MyFroggyStuff on youtube. If you don't know here and are interested in making cute doll things you should really check her out! Here's a link to the record player: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri6Kg6KmTXQ&t=105s
As for the records I found a template of them on Etsy from Michaelins.
