Metrobus M22 (WYW 22T) was one of the first batch of Metros to be delivered new to London Transport, after trialling the original five vehicles (MT1-5) at Cricklewood. The bus is seen here after its first major repaint during which it lost the attractive white window surrounds on the upper deck, which had been a feature which LT carried on from the last batches of DMS Fleetlines. The bus is parked up at the back of Fulwell garage where it was based for its whole working life with LT and the privatised London United. After 20 years of service, the bus was sold to Thames Valley Training, and then in 2006 to Atbus, Thorpe for spares. The remains were taken to PVS, Carlton for breaking.
Next to the Metrobus is RMC 1510 (510 CLT) which has been relegated as a driver trainer - a world away from the halcyon days of Green Line service.

A rather surprising transfer to Metrobus Croydon back in October last year was former Blue Triangle ADL Enviro200 SE19 (SK07DZN), which is now part of a mixed allocation of three Enviro200's brought in to replace MAN's 713, 718 and 721. It is seen in Purley on route 359.
It's first day at Croydon was spent making an extremely rare appearance on route 434! It turns out however it was allocated in error and was subbed during the day but since it lasted for more than one hour on the route it turns out a 10.8m bus may be able to do the full route after all. It still to this day is the only bus longer than 8.9m that has ever appeared on route 434 since LVF records began and maybe even the route began.
The Metrobus was a common sight in Birmingham city centre for over 30 years. This view shows B782AOC heading along Great Charles Street Queensway with traffic emerging from the Queensway Tunnel on the left.
