Hauling back on the stick, "Stab" sends the Hornet into the vertical.
Check out the deflection in the elevators. If you look closely you can see small wisps of vapor as the leading edge's knife through the humid afternoon air.

I feel (and look) like complete hell right now. I'm blaming lack of sleep and calculus. It's 12:21 AM and I was dozing on my incomplete calc work when I realized what a crappy job I've been doing in just about every activity I'm in. It's one thing to not be perfect. It's another to not even pass as mediocre. In school, in classes, in out-of-school activities.
People look at me and think "Oh. She's always so stressed all the time." As if it's a sin to be in a family of 7.5, eldest of 5, a senior in high school, the family taxi driver and one of the babysitters. Jobless and allowance-less, taking AP and honors and all these courses with no study halls, along with keeping up with church, with service projects, with organizing NHS activities. Worrying about college. Worrying about scholarships. Worrying about everything. Not eating. Not sleeping. Being an insomniac. Being a hot mess. And on top of that the other activities I do outside of school like the school musical that consuming a large portion of my life. Complaining WAY too much. Trying to hang on to the friends that have new friends and forget about me from time to time. Trying to excell at something, anything. Trying to be perfect.
It's not a sin. It's not a sin. It's not a sin.
I just look like hell.
Since 2000 in the grounds of the medieval castle of Pralormo, in the heart of Piedmont, the extraordinary flowering of over 75,000 tulips and daffodils announce spring: each edition of this event Botanical hosts a new planting, completely renovated in variety and in the project-color. The event involves the entire park, designed in the nineteenth century by the court architect Xavier Kurten, creator of the most important gardens of the Savoy residences.
My messing around shots are taken when i'm bored, not able to shoot outdoors (varying reasons), and I just need my shutter 'fix' for the day.
So here's a shot of some of the things hanging on the wall in the furnace/laundry room. We recently painted the walls in the house, hence, the painter's tape, brushes, and paint stick.
And that's a MasterCraft hammer.
The light was fairly low in this room at the time I shot this -- so the brightness was bumped up a bit. I'm also using the new tripod and ball-head more, so that's been pretty good so far. Manfrotto really does make a good product. My only caveat thus far with the 190xprob legs are the lever type leg tighteners -- I'm thinking I would prefer the twist-tightener type.
