My mates shirt looks a bit sloppy next to the US sailors uniform. I had shirts just like it, we could buy them from the barracks shops. They cost Singapore $1.50, the same price as a big bottle of beer.
The past weekend we were at "Messer Tulipano" held annually, when flowering tulips, at Castle of Pralormo. Countess opens to the public the gardens of his house (paying the ticket) and prepares the park with flowers of tulips, an organic market and thematic exhibitions. Each year in the barn there is an exhibition themed "5 senses" ... This year was the turn of view, the next one will be touch turn. The greenhouse is set up similarly, the theme was "butterflies" (I added a pair in origami...)...
What I like in the setting of the park is that the countess being economically a prudent woman, tends to pay the costs ( ;-P ) and then use much her brain (in effect as a job, she organizes trade events and weddings and has lot of experience) ... however, the entire park transforms into a series of surprise ... where everything looks normal, but at a careful glance you will find a fairy who comes out from a trunk ... a house for birds in the trees, a bird that seems real but is fake ... But they are all things simple that with a little fantasy you can do at home ... I like all this ... returned home I placed a plum tree house for the birds on the plum tree.
My dream is to see the castle Oriland prepared in this greenhouse, would be the ideal setting and environment... it is really a fairy tale ... I do not know her personally but if knew the countess I would suggest her to do it!
This is a castle in the country, but quite nice and the show is very popular, there is always a long queue to get in.
The season is late this year, so the tulips were not blooming yet but we were given a free ticket to return ... we might go again...
The steps to the right lead to the entrance to the mess hall. The steps leading down on the left are where we stored our weapons.

I tend to get really focused on a task and fail to put things back where they belong. Then I come back from lunch and realize there's a big mess on my desk.
Since moving out of the chaotic environment I was living in, I've found that I really like things to be clutter-free. I think it's part of taking control of my own life. Must make sure it doesn't turn into OCD... :)
My desk at home in our new house in our home office. (3rd picture of 4)
Much work have been put into this room in order to go through moving boxes, drawers and cabinets and there still work to do. This is not how it looks today though.
(all furniture in this picture is from an infamous Swedish company by the way... ;) )
I encoded a film, but got the settings wrong and ended up with something that looked like an 80's Acid party.

The 'Mercy' station from Grace service 'Planetary Mess'. We intended to do it all with pumpkins but found that they were all removed from the shops the day after Halloween! (As if no-one did anything else with a pumpkin other than carve it.) So we had to use watermelons instead, which is slightly weird symbolically. The prayer became about water in a warming world. Someone did get a pair of pumpkins as well.
