The Mesa is visible from almost anywhere in Mesquite. Yes, that is an American flag on the point - not sure who maintains it but the top is accessible by ATV's.
Part of the set I am building for Mesa and Man. This is an outdoor wall, sort of a waterfall. Water streams down the yellow stone into a shallow trough, seen in detail in the previous image. It was cloudy this day, and there were scattered raindrops coming with wind, so this was shot "fast" before I had to close up the camera.

We spent the day in Moab, Utah dodging the rain by looking for the bright spots in the sky. Started the day at Onion Creek, then Arches, Island in the Sky, and then back to Arches. The view shows Washer Woman to the left and the White Rim in the center through Mesa Arch.
