Mockup of the torso/cabin.
Kitbashing an innocent Dreadknight into an Adeptus Mechanicus Knight Titan - simply because I can.
Whether you’re just getting started and looking for a way into the 41st Millennium, curious to start an Adeptus Mechanicus or Necrons army, or just want to pick up some new units to ally with your existing force, Forgebane is for you.
I'm widening the torso, both to fit the head/cabin, and to give the model more of a titan-like (titanic?) appearance. Here's back panel cut into three (I cut a bit too far south on the midline - whoops).

In the boxed set, you’ll find two armies, along with rules for playing them and a new chapter in the lore of Warhammer 40,000, as the Adeptus Mechanicus discover the secrets of blackstone – a mysterious material with the potential to neutralise the powers of Chaos or even amplify it to a horrific degree.
Twin linked lascanons, built from a set of bloodraven cannons and a spare sentinel powerplant.

I need some decently sized Adeptus Mechanicus symbols for a terrain project I'm working on. The problem? No one makes the damn things any more. So, the only solution is to make my own.
I'm building the base model out of balsa wood and other stuff I have lying around the place, then I'll take a mould off it and make as many as I need! Theoretically :)
Modifications to the Dreadknight's hammer to make it suitable for my Knight Titan. Happily the Inquisition symbol is quite similar to the Adeptus Mechanicus Collegio Titanicus symbol, once you get rid of the bottom crossbar.
What I have yet to mention, my friend's a major fan of the Adeptus Mechanicus and one fine day while researching for builds I have found this here video:

It featured an awesome Adeptus Mechanicus army with some scratch-built figures. What I really liked were the spiderbots.
I recently acquired a Proxxon Micro Woodturning Lathe that's also compatible with plastics and figured it'd be a good way to try it out.
I lathed the body out of POM (Polyoxymethylene, also known as Delrin, Celcon or Hostaform) and glued the legs together from 1.5mm Styrene strips. With a bit of Green Stuff for finishing touches I was good to go.
My frequently-mentioned friend liked it so much that I'll be making a few more leg options and finally end up making a mold to mass-produce those little bots.
The body itself is roughly 1x2cm's, the legs included it's about 3x2cm, so it'd need a 40mm base (if used with a base).
