during a sunday walk in harajuku, we followed a long line of people to see what they were waiting for. turns out it was an 'eggs n things' restaurant. we returned (and still queued) on a tuesday morning.
this is the banana pancakes which i foolishly thought could be eaten after a pikelet sausage and egg (mcgriddle) from mcdonalds....the scale of the cream was both great and daunting..
Sorry in advance to all my Vegan friends. I know the whole bacon cupcake thing is old news but I couldn't let it pass without trying it. I believe the recipe is straight off of Cupcakes take the Cake. Well, if you like the salty sweet combo then these are to die for. There are chunks of bacon in the cupcake. The icing is cream cheese maple cinnamon. I could have spread it on top of a bug and it would have still been delicious. It's like a bacon egg and cheese McGriddle from McDonalds and a Cinnabon had a baby.
New product by McDonalds in Singapore. Chicken patty, egg and cheese sandwiched by two syrup-soaked pancakes. Not my liking because it is a lil too sweet...

It's very seldom that I have Mickey D's for breakfast especially on the weekdays but this was the "result" when I had extra time to spare in the morning. I woke up thinking that it was 6:30 a.m. which meant I only had 30 minutes to get ready for work . . . so I immediately jumped out of bed . . . . . . . got ready in no time . . . it wasn't until I checked to see if I had time to flat-iron my hair when I realized that it was only going on 6:00 a.m. I rushed for nothing and could have at least slept in a little longer! Arghhh! Well, since I had an extra hour of free time, I washed the plates the hubs had left from his breakfast earlier that morning and cleaned up a bit in the kitchen. Managed to throw in a load of laundry and flat-ironed my hair. When SPC came (we ride in together) I was out the door. She usually comes at least 5 minutes early so we had time to make a stop a Mickey D's . . . . I shared my McGriddle and hashbrowns with MCV and shared the cinnamon melts with MCV and DC when I got into work . . . Hope ya'll had a great Friday and a happy weekend ahead!
