Unfortunately the default material on the '10 Surbaru Forester armrest is not very durable. On the very first day I owned the car my dog put a mark into it. Less then a week later I put the mark you see in the photo, and a plastic cup made the scuff mark in the middle! Time for an upgrade.

This technology will be used to assist with the regulation of temperature in CEREB. Due to the lightweight structure of the building, it may overheat during the day. Phase Change materials (PCM) are capable of storing a large amount of heat while staying at a relatively constant temperature; this effect can be used to offset heat gains into the space and moderate temperature swings.

This paddles I built with parts of Telegraphy relay, Plexiglas, PCB-material and Alu-parts from junk-box. Look at the return-springs, they are made by sticking-pins.

Il saggio
Un signore, un po’ gobbo, dai capelli bianchi, avvolto da un pesante mantello di lana grigia poggia il busto su un tronco di legno da cui sembra prendere forma. Un volto trascurato, dalla pelle macchiata e la barba bianca incolta. Fronte alta, sguardo profondo e penetrante, quasi inquietante. Un uomo di esperienza, che ha conseguito una profonda saggezza grazie ai propri sforzi.
Forse un filosofo che porta con se l’amore per la sapienza. Quella capacità che apre gli occhi agli uomini sul mondo, che li allontana dal loro isolamento egoista, che li porta ad una sana inquietudine nella ricerca e nella conoscenza di verità utili alla loro esistenza. Sappiamo di non sapere, diceva Socrate, però la filosofia ci mette sul cammino della conoscenza. Una figura scomparsa dalla contemporaneità. Le nostre società dette “del benessere” coltivano spesso cinismo, paura ecc. e in un ambiente così arido è impossibile sviluppare la capacità di essere saggio. Ripristinare personalità così virtuose significa lavorare per stimolare le potenzialità umane.
