The Cliff Dwellings of Manitou Springs. These were stolen from other cliff house sites and conjoined into this mishmash for a tourist attraction. These structures are from different places and cultures. Still, it's interesting enough to visit.
Concerning gravity.
My son spotted this artillery piece next to a playground. After I make some exposures, the gymnast's friends offered to "back-flip for a breast-cancer-buck," an offer I was quite sure was not legitimate.

I am totally obsessed with how vehicles look, regardless of their purpose. For me the current generation Manitou telehandlers are not only beautifully proportioned, but are a feast of asymmetrical industrial design. Which unusual vehicles float your boat?
I wanted to photograph this with a brick-built fork lift attachment too, but here in the UK the postal service is stretched past capacity, so some key parts were delayed. So I can only show you the moveable arm with a rather nice single piece LEGO bucket.

The town is also in a great location for access to the famous Pikes Peak mountain - the top of which at 14,110 ft can be accessed by road or rack railway.

May 8, 2023: Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Manitou Springs, Colorado.
Built between 1904-1907, The Manitou Cliff Dwellings is a privately owned tourist attraction with a recreated Anasazi cliff dwelling, museum, and gift shop. Visitors can walk and climb through the recreated cliff dwellings. The cliff dwellings are based on actual examples found in Mesa Verde National Park and similar preserved sites.
The Anasazi, also known as the Ancestral Puebloans, lived in the Four Corners area of the American Southwest from about 1200 BC to AD 1300.
