As I rode ahead on the Kalyan Shilphata road, I came across this very old temple called the Khidkaleshwar Mahadev Mandir situated on the banks of the Khiḍkali Lake.
The temple was built around the same time as the Durgadi Fort in the 17th century. Inside the main temple, in addition to the "swayambhu" - or self manifested Shiva Linga, there are other ancient idols of Ganesha and Hanuman.
The legend about this temple is that the Pandavas visited this place during their exhile in the forests, when Yudhishthira wanted to perform Shiva puja. So the Pandavas built this temple for his puja.

This Shivling is supposed to have been installed by Saint Gautam, hence the name Gautameshwar Mahadev. It is believed that whoever worships here will get all the happiness & will attain Moksha. The present temple is built by Kashi King and is also known as Kashi Naresh Shivala

Kirateshwar Mahadev Temple is a Hindu temple, identified to be a Hindu pilgrimage site which is located at Legship, West Sikkim, India along the banks of River Rangeet., which has many mythological episodes of the Mahabharata attached to it. The temple is also known as Kirateshwar Mahadev Thaan or simply known as Shiv Mandir by the local people.
MAIN ATTRACTION
The main attraction of the temple are the festival of the Bala Chaturdesi, which is observed in November-December every year and the Shiv Ratri also known as Maha Shivaratri which falls in the month of February or March every year. There are other temples dedicated to Lord Rama and Durga can be found here making it an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus.

According to the Hindu mythology, pleased with Arjuna's hard penance and devotion, Lord Shiva appeared before him in the very spot where the temple lies as a Kirat or hunter and blessed him with success in the Mahabharat War. Long time ago as the people found miraculously existed a stone manifesting Shiva Ling. The said Shiv Ling is the main effigy of worship. Belief of many that a mere visit with true devotion to this temple fulfills one’s wishes particularly a wish for son or daughter and also wishes for peace harmony and good health.

Its temple is situated at traila village which is 22 km from padhar tehsil and 52 km from Mandi district headquarter.20 km you can travel by bus after this you have to walk pedestrain. Tikker gaanv mein ek ghar mein Dev Trailu ko Elaaj karne ke liye le jaya gya. wahan par elaaj karte samay Dev Trailu ne kaha ki es gaanv mein koi jaadu tona kar rha hai aur apn eRath ke sath Tikker Thana ki taraf gye aur wahan par laal dhaga mila joki pure gaanv ke charon taraf lagaya ja rha tha. Fir Dev Trailu se saare gaanv walon ne puchha ki yah kaam kisne kiya hai uske paas chale jao to Dev Trailu Tolu Ram naamak ek garamin ke ghar gya aur bola ki yeh kaam esne kiya hai parantu tolu ram mukkar gya. usne Dev Trailu ko aur uske Gur ko jhutha kaha aur yeh bhi bola ki agar usne yeh kaam kiya hai to wah 8 dino mein mar jaye. abhi mein 8 din gin rha hun. 5 april, 2013 ko tolu ram ki maut hogi.

Himachal Pradesh - Kullu Valley - Inde
Basheshar Mahadev temple (=Shiva), à Bajaura, quelque 15km avant Kullu, quand on vient de Mandi. Le temple est isolé, à l'écart (200 m) de la route dans la direction de la rivière.
Se dressant au milieu d'un petit jardin bien entretenu, il est lui-même en excellent état, bien que datant du 8ème siècle. Sa tour-shikhara, d'un style très pur, s'élance vers le ciel. Elle est creusée, sur trois de ses faces, de niches profondes où ont pris place de grandes et belles statues de Ganesh au sud, Vishnu à l'ouest et Mahîshâsuramardinî (Durgâ ) à l'est.
