So many shades of white.

Dozens of green water drops distracting from a perfectly beautiful yellow flower.

No color enhancement. This is the actual color of this flower. I am always amazed at what nature gives us.

The five stamens seemed surprised and wanted to climb toward a soft green light. Another example a dying bloom's beauty.

Used a different focus approach. Thought the color of the red was more important than it's detail. I love the three little stamens reaching out.

I've always found capturing white with a deeply saturated color very difficult. But I like this shot.

If you looked up the color yellow in the dictionary, this might be what you see. Also love the intricate geometry of the flower.

As the color of the petals moves toward the white center, it becomes a pink color that actually clashes with the red.

Tried very hard to centralize focus. These reminded me of raw pistachios.

Rich Fall Colors come out in this aggressive looking little bloom.
