"Do you know what's worth fighting for

When it's not worth dying for?

Does it take your breath away

And you feel yourself suffocating?

Does the pain weigh out the pride?

And you look for a place to hide?

Did someone break your heart inside?

You're in ruins

One, twenty one guns

Lay down your arms

Give up the fight

One, twenty one guns

Throw up your arms into the sky,

You and I"

Sunlight, in the broadest sense, is the total spectrum of electromagnetic radiation from the Sun On Earth, sunlight is filtered by passing through the atmosphere. This is usually during the hours considered as day. Near the geographic poles in summer, sunlight also occurs during the hours that defined the night and in winter in these areas, the sunlight could not simply arrive. The thermal radiation produced by radiation from the sun is different from the increase in atmospheric temperature due to radiative warming of the atmosphere by solar radiation. Sunlight can be "recorded" using a heliograph. The World Meteorological Organization defines sunshine as direct radiation from the sun as the ground of at least 120 W m-2.

Direct sunlight gives about 93 lumens of illumination per watt of electromagnetic power, including infrared, visible and ultra-violet.

Bright sunlight provides illumination of approximately 100,000 candelas per square meter on Earth's surface.

Sunlight is a key factor in the process of photosynthesis, so important to life.

This beautiful Alaskan Husky belongs to Kiruna Sleddog Tours. She was born January 28, 2013.

Lumene was born in the 70's and when I was taught in the early 70's I remember that the eyelids used bright pearlescent shades that were spread all the way to the eyebrows and the eyebrow might be highlighted in white. However, eye makeup was softer than it was in the 1960s. But I always made it too strong, I was almost like a Black Mask. The make-up cream was clearly darker than its own skin, on which no powder was used. But I always powder the eyelids and lips before applying makeup to make them stick better. meikissä helmiäinenEyebrow trimming were made with a pen and the interior was popular, which caused me a lot of difficulty. The lashes were turned and the mascara was applied so much that the lashes clumped. Sometimes with an old toothbrush I tried to get the lumps off. Mascara was available in many different shades, I always got the darkest of what was found. Trim and pastel shades were preferred on the lips. The lips had to shine and I got good old advice to apply a colorless petrolatum top to the center of the lips which gave a great shine. . At the end of the decade, the color of the lipstick darkened. Blush was applied as a round spot to the center of the face as a creamy orange or pink pearl. I used a lot of pearls around my eye makeup and lips as an accent. I loved using perle meik the most in the 70s, maybe too much. The eyebrows were really thin I drove them completely off and replaced them with thin dark brown curves. Here the limit of success and failure was the greatest. Long rather than short hair was in vogue. My first wig was long haired. I didn’t know how to care for it and always combed it carefully before putting it to use. Long hair was permanent. Men also took permanent ones and afro was in vogue.

The makeup was liquid and I usually liked it if my face was shiny, making it look the richest, greasy. I chose make-up cream usually darker than my own skin. The powder was not used because the skin was wanted to be natural and radiant. But sometimes when I didn’t have time, or bothered, to apply the make-up cream, I used a richly tinted powder that covered the unevenness of the skin and the beard had to be shaved with real care with the tow or razor I had learned to use. Blush was used extensively under the cheekbone and the shade was often orange.

I often left out the use of blush altogether.

In eye makeup, eyeshadow was applied all the way to the eyebrow. Pearls were my favorites. A wide range of colors was found, including blue green, brown.

The shades of lipstick were pink, beige and orange brown which I prefer the latter the most.

What's in my bag... today.

I bought this bag yesterday, because it was cheap, fun, and Domo.

It's not so good as a handbag because there ain't any pockets inside, but

at least it has a zipper so it feels safe enough.

I used it first time today, and this is what I packed inside it this morning.

BACKSTORY: Got up around ~7:50AMish, made it out driving by 8:45 and went out until 12:53 PM (stopping at McDonald's for soft serve and The Dollar Store, so we got home at 1:47) for a total of 4 hours. Spent $80.70 plus ~$4.62 gas for 50.2 miles of driving (27.5 mpg @ $2.53/G), for a total cost of $85.32. We drove to 20 yard sales, stopping at 12 (60%) of them. We made 59 purchases (118 items) for a total estimated value of $557.27, leading to a profit/savings of $476.57. So in essence, we multiplied our $80.70 investment by 6.91. (Also, if you think about it, the profit counts for even more when you consider that we have to earn $543.22 on the job, pre-tax, in order to take home the $476.57 in cash that we saved. How long does $543.22 of disposable income take to earn, vs the 4 hrs we spent here?). Anyway, this works out to a *post-tax* "wage" of $95.31/hr as a couple or $47.66/hr per person.
