My build list is lengthy and downright insane, but surprisingly logical when you look at it. I want to start representing the Nickel Plate Road with preserved examples of locomotives and rolling stock that serve as "touchtstones" for connecting with the past of a wider system. One car was the 1937 AAR steel boxcar, with its 10ft interior. Work on this car kicked off for Boxcar-O-Rama 2024, when I was tasked with making a car for Brandon Burt. I had come off the heels of building Cale's revised PS-1, and used that as a jumping off point to work backwards through the evolutionary chain of the 40ft steel boxcars of the Nickel Plate Road. NKP 15797 and 15979 are preserved as a pair at the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum, and I thought it would be a bit of fun to build the pair and give one away, but keep them together for the Nickel Plate Road Historical & Technical Society's convention. As of writing, 15979 was mailed away and Pere Marquette 72332 built by Matthew O'Brien. Looking forward to the day the pair can be reunited.

Molarchae's BOOK collection melds together our love of science, creativity, and reuse. Science is an ever-evolving body of knowledge, and as a result, many older books are almost laughably outdated. We rescue books that are past their informative and/or physical prime and give them a new life with the help of a laser cutter and a lot of love.

Melbourne ain't the cycle friendly city its cracked up to be. Cars can park in bike lanes like this all over the city from 9am till 11pm. What's the point of having a cyclelane here at all?

It seemed logical to have the Tank drive over them ! Those tan BDs are annoying. Forget about trying to get one to stand !

With out a stand ....

Blackpool Musical Festival 2013

Day 2 - alternate

okay, okay... it is only day 2 and I am having GREAT difficulty chosing my photo of the day for each day. Gah...! Should I be focussing on content of the photo (memory building, etc) for which this one might qualify or on the photographic/artisitic merit (for which this one has very little to offer). Hmm... more thought on my aims with this project is needed.

Vehicle livery for Logical Plumbing & Heating

There is no logical order in what I'm writing about under these photographs. There is a general theme amongst the photographs, which is what my life looked like these past few months but it only makes sense to me. I'm trying to get a hold of how my gallery looks like depending on what type of image I am uploading: portrait, landscape. For now it's an amusement to see it slowly unfold.

I think writing about the photographs is not much interesting. So I write about me, my life, my thoughts on different subjects.

Lately I've been busy with the end of a semester followed by the beginning of a brand new one, which also happens to be my last semester. It feels weird in many ways. Firstly, to think that I'm getting closer to the end of these studies feels scary because it's all I've ever known. Well, truth be told, it's not the real ending because I still have some writing and researching stuff to do. Second, I lose my recently gained autonomy to be back under supervision but it's a good thing in this case. Third, I'm back in a work environment that I highly dislike but it's necessary for the time being. I know 6 months will go by very quickly and I'm both eager and scared to get to the end of it. Eager because I just want to get it done and be out of here. Scared because I don't know yet what I want to do nor where I want to go.

Speaking of, I've been torn with this question and I always struggle to make up my mind. So the big question is: where am I going by May 2023? I could literally go anywhere I wanted, I could find work anywhere, but I just don't know, I can't decide and choose one place. I told my friend that I had too much choices and I feel overwhelmed, it gives my anxiety. But I thought to myself, maybe I should change the narrative and think about it from a different perspective. One could say that it's called freedom and isn't that exciting?

For now, I'm trying to think about it in a different way, bringing excitement and joy in the process rather than my usual anxiety. Then I'll think about the logistics and technicalities and so on.

Also I can't believe I haven't shared a Taylor Swift song yet!

One of the many aspects of parenting that I still haven't totally figured out is discipline based on logical consequences. But I'm pretty sure that the logical consequences of requesting this hairstyle involve the permanent existence of this photograph.
