Practicing my liquify, I'm a bit of a fan of 1970's big eyed kids paintings, so giving it a whirl.

My word was Iphone. At first I didn't really know what to do with my word, so I just took a picture with a girl holding an Iphone and decided to go from there. After looking at my pictures to make it look like one of those 'Teens are on the screens to much' things. So what I ended up doing was highlighting the fact she had her nose caught up in the screen. Since most teens these days can't live without their phone, my interpretation took flight from the phone-obsessed world these days.
I used a total of three photoshop tools. In order to get the point across I decided to emphasize the apple, which is the Iphone's logo, and the actual word on the bottom that says "Iphone" I used the liquify tool in order to accomplish this. Another tool I used was the healing brush to clear up any marks on her face, such as acne or red marks. Finally, to finalize the photo and give it the phone that "glow" I was looking for, I used the gradient tool with levels. What I learned with this, was basically what looks good and what doesn't look good based upon trial and error and experimenting with the tools. Although I did use tools that I had previous knowledge of, it was still a learning process with the levels and where to it to get the right color. All in all, thanks to the these tools my interpretation of Iphone came across.

I'm trying to stop putting 'instagram' tones in my photos. This one has basically no edits at all :)

Mirror of illusion... sorry couldn't help it- Hawkwind in 1970, their first album and one of the best tracks on it. If only I'd had PS then! I'd have made a fortune doing this stuff :-))

Liquified natural gas (LNG) is stored at minus 260 Fahrenheit. This air tower is used to vaporize the gas. It is 80 ft high and 650 ft long. It is equipped with 12 side-mounted fans and uses warm air to heat water. The water circulates through a series of heat exchangers that are used to vaporize the liquified gas. The water gets very cold, so it goes back to these fans to be reheated. The natural gas is sent off to customers by a 42" pipeline.
I took this photo at the Williams Tower Complex which includes this 64 feet tall waterfall, to me it resembles the "Horseshoe" in Niagara Falls. Williams Tower is located in uptown Houston near the Galleria mixed-use-center, an upscale area of Houston. I did some editing using the Transfor-Distort command to fix some camera and falls distortion, I did not use any liquifying since I did not think it needed it.
