The Raider Class Imperial Corvette from Star Wars Battlefront has finally launched!
Shortly after the release of my Rebel Alliance Corvus last year, Bruxxy (www.flickr.com/photos/185061854@N06/) and I started a collaborative build of the Imperial version, so this has been a long time in the making!.
Bruxxy took on the formidable role of re-designing the exterior over the frame of my rebel Corus, and he did an absolutely incredible job of it, staying true to the style of the Rebel version but expertly creating it’s Imperial counterpart. I then built and troubleshot the model to within an inch of it’s life over the course of 3 months, refining and re-making dozens of areas, internally and externally.

The overview shot of my newest build. This build was a relatively quick one, just over 10 or so days, but I really like how it turned out. My main goal was to expand upon my techniques for detailed walls, and I think I achieved that using a bunch of brackets and headlight bricks.

Having completed his transformation, the once famed Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker is no more. In his place, alongside the Emperor, Darth Vader rises to assume command as judge, jury & executioner of his masters’ will.
Vader: “You told me you could save her.”
Palpatine: “In your rage you choose… a different path. Padme… is dead my friend. Even the power of the Dark Side cannot bring her back. But in her death, she has given you a gift. Pain. Now… you must choose. Will you accept that gift? Will you use it… …Or will you die?”
Vader: “I… will live.”
Palpatine: “Good. And now…”
*proceeds to electrocute Vader with force lighting*
“Where is your light saber, Lord Vader? Use its power! Defend yourself!”
Vader: “Lost. In the fight with Obi-Wan. He… took it.”
Palpatine: “No! That blade belonged to another. A Jedi. You are a Sith. I realize this has been a… traumatic time for you. But if you touch me with the force again, I will finish what Kenobi could not. You are my friend, Lord Vader. I do hope we never find ourselves in this position again. Rise. The great work must continue. You think of revenge. You wish to leave, to find the source of all your pain. I can sense it. Set such feelings aside. Your personal vendettas pale next to the needs of our Galactic Empire. Come with me. I wish to show you something.”

I decided last night to take the 75217 and 75052 Lukes Land-Speeders and mash them together. It didn’t turn out as nicely as I expected so I tore it apart. This morning I decided to actually make a decent looking speeder. This took me about 5 hours to design. And then probably another 2 to rework the back engine area. This is still a work in progress at the end of the day and I am about to make some BL orders. When those come in and I can finish it I will give it the proper spotlight it deserves. This has got to be one of the Separatist army's coolest ships! It had such little screen time in Revenge of the Sith that I actually didn't notice it the first few times I watched the movie. After getting the original 2005 set, the design grew on me, and I still love it to this day. Sand blue is one of my favourite Lego colours, so naturally this was really exciting to design and build. While I am not usually a fan of stickers on mocs, I thought they were necessary in this circumstance given the vehicle is covered in markings. However, you can leave the stickers out and it looks just as good, some may find it even looks better. For the three engine casings I decided to stick with the same parts as Lego had used in set 7252, as they are the perfect piece for the job, and capture the shaping really nicely. The aspect i'm most happy with is probably how compact looking it turned out, with minimal gaps between the segments. Anyway, i'm really pleased with the final outcome, and hope that you guys all like it to.

Imperial colored version of my latest updated AT-RT walker, built for our @darktimesgroup Antolus l collab displayed at @_bricktastic 2024.
The story takes place in the early days of the Empire, when Stormtroopers still used Clone Trooper armor and equipment.

Since our confrontation onboard the Fire Star, we had been very successful on the planet below, we had taken multiple outposts and recon points, which were all adding up to a better prepared attack on the capital. Although we had taken the majority of the stations, some rebels who'd escaped when we'd attacked had caused some issues. These were not major, as no reinforcements could be called as the Fire Star were jamming coms on the part of the planets surface, but there was the occasional attack to try and retake what was theirs. Although the last time they tried, the rebels were very unlucky. The platform that they attacked had a small military base nearby which were occupied by the special forces of our legion, these troopers signified by there blue arms and specialist armour, were elite soldiers who were to protect me and carry out special missions on whatever we were trying to achieve. When rebels attacked this next outpost, they wouldn't be returning again.
