No records in the history books, not mentioned in any newspaper: This time we're in the outskirts of a spa town somewhere in Germany. The farmyard of the building we were visiting has become overgrown. It was the house of a gardener who used to live and work here. In this arboretum he was growing trees and bushes. But without any nursing the garden started to run wild and became an impenetrable thicket.

Nestled on a hillside hidden behind trees this abandoned hotel can be easily missed. The building is composed of an older and a newer part as well as spa area. According to our information the site has been abandoned since 2003. The real highlight of this place is a small house right next to the hotel. It looks like a home but probably was some kind of guesthouse. While the ground floor looked some kind of emptied out the other floors were full of vintage furniture and belongings which were left behind. The visit felt a bit like a time travel back to the 80’s.

It wasn't easy to access this former company headquarters of a big chemical company. But on this warm summer day, we somehow managed to infiltrate the property and dodge security. When entering the first of the many abandoned buildings on the premises, we got instantly rewarded with stunning decay! As it seems, in the past everything was left behind in the old labs. Since the whole site is contaminated, the structures are rotting away for 30 years now without any further plans of refurbishment. If you’re a fan of decay and street art, we promise, you will love today’s episode: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtVWV-wH6Vc
This time we are exploring a widely branched network of cellars located deep under a major city. These vaults are the last remaining sections of a historic market hall which was built in the 19th century and demolished some decades ago. Only a few meters above this relict of former times people are going on with their daily routines, having no idea what spectacular views are down here. In some cases multiple-centimeter-thick and many meters long roots extend across the underground. Until this day we hadn’t set eyes on something like this!
The sunken Sarsia had lain abandonded in West Float for many years.

As if we were exploring a ghost town. At least it felt like that when we were visiting a vast abandoned industrial area on day two of our urbex road trip in Austria. Once, this was one of the biggest gas works sites in the region. Today the compound fallows and nature is winning back what was once hers. We are one of the last people who will be able to see the site with their own eyes before there will be a massive change shortly.

The sun was just rising while we were already entering a forbidden area somewhere in Eastern Germany. This mining mega machine was already visible from many miles away since it’s towering above everything in the proximity. To call this bucket-wheel excavator “giant” would be an understatement. The dimensions are just overwhelming. It seems like a whole factory on wheels!

During our urbex road trip in Austria our local friends lead us to Clinic Moss. It should become the highlight of our journey. The power was still on. And there was running water, too. It’s astonishing to see an abandoned place in such pristine condition although the mailbox was opened the last time 15 years ago. You won’t find any vandalism here. The whole interior is very clean and the name “Clinic Moss” is actually misleading. At least when you’re exploring the main building. Because there’s a second part of the house which distinguishes itself very much from the first one.
This is what will remain after a fairy tale ends. A forgotten castle in the middle of nowhere. Eerily beautiful to look at from the outside. But from the inside it’s nothing more than a ramshackle hut. It felt like this whole building would collapse at any second while exploring it. As it seems people tried to renovate the place but suddenly stopped in the middle of construction works. And all of this happened while the manor was used as some kind of office. Among the personal and work related stuff we made some odd discoveries.

These Roman baths in Kinver were probably a Victorian folly. Today, the dammed brook flows freely, and yet the cave with the fireplace and the long tunnel remain. It's a peaceful place to visit.
The tall logo at the top of today's abandoned building is a remnant of glorious times. But these have passed. National and international press agencies sent the current affairs from here to the whole world. Today the high-rise is rotting away. Homeless people who found their way inside through pieces of broken glass are spending their nights in the former press center. The police has to move in regularly because of copper thieves and vandals. And this time because of us.
A variety of impressive production halls is the trademark of today’s abandoned site. This former tank factory in the middle of Vienna was left to rot around two years ago. In line with this, some spots look really clean and natural decay is hardly to be found here yet. However, the place has been through a lot and is origin to some curious stories. Join today’s exploration and get a unique look behind the curtain of the Austrian armaments industry.
