I wanted to hike up the bug Beehive, but the amount of powder snow did nit allow it. I had to turn around about 150 meter before the summit. The view over frozen Lake Agnes was still worth the hike up.

In mid April all of the higher elevation Lakes of Banff and Jasper NP are still completely frozen. It'll take a few more weeks until the ice melts.
