Lakeview. Used to be a nice place to live.

Katrina moved my nephew's pumpkin seeds to the other end of the property, but they're flourishing.

Note high water marks on damaged fence, and dead grass.

this was one block away from where i was living, in the marigny district of new orleans. my heart goes out to all who have been affected by it.

Picture of the damages Katrina did.

Katrina's bump is slowly growing!

Katrina in my room during Dave's grad party.

The temple was completely gutted by Katrina. Volunteers have restored it to a useable state and continue to improve it. The building was in the works for more than a decade and only dedicated two days before Katrina struck.

My first apartment in New Orleans - completely ruined in Hurricane Katrina. It still sits muddy and gutted waiting for repair.

Katrina spared few street signs.

The girls head for the woods.

West end of Dauphin Island - Post Katrina

Katrina puts it out there.

Unfortunately Katrina is taking great interest in the birds.... it is very hard to make these indoor cats but maybe we will have to.

she got this idea from her cousin, but where her cousin was smaller, katrina rocked this thing so much i thought it would fall over...
