I'm ardently loving my advent calendar Toy Shoppe needlepoint project, but the latest installment of the little Christmas figures arrived recently and it's my favorite of all of them. So I had to put the Toy Shoppe aside to turn my attentions to this guy. It feels like coming home again, after having stitched his four compatriots so far.
For the record, at some point in a recent holiday season, Boomer momentarily forgot Rudolf's name and referred to the unofficial ninth reindeer as Randolph. Needless to say, Randolph has become a fixture at Maple Hoo. We like to think he has a foghorn for a nose, instead of a light. "HO-OOOOONK!" So this dude is Randolph, of course.

Jason and I got the idea to spoof one of Bryan's photos for lack of coming up with any creative ideas of our own. - We hope Bryan realizes it was all in good fun, and forgives us for this parody series.
