Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow
Noel Cruz is one of the most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community. He is most recognized for his character & celebrity based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray. His dolls are derived from several models like Gene, Tyler, Sydney, etc, by various doll-makers such as Robert Tonner & Franklin Mint. His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. Highly regarded among collectors and artists alike, Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints. Noel's specialty is with one of a kind repaints. The beauty of repaints is that almost no two are exactly alike just as no two artists are alike.

Captain Jack Sparrow is a fictional character and the main protagonist in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. The character was created by screenwriters Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, and is portrayed by Johnny Depp, who based his characterization on Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards and cartoon character Pepé Le Pew.

Man threatened with knife set on Pirates of the Caribbean 5

Haha- Freddie Highmore just keeps showing up in these. I liked his cute purple pirate bandana, but Johnny's eye patch gave me a few problems. I couldn't decide to include it or not, but I just stuck to the bandanas in the end.
I found this poster in a theatre window, and couldn't pass by without taking it's picture. I love Johnny Depp.

After hanging out for 7 hours after working an 8 hour shift, every muscle in my body ached, I was starving, hadn't gone to the bathroom or eaten but once all day and I was cold, not getting anything done I needed to, but it was worth it. For this.
Wow. I met Johnny Depp. I'll never wash my hand again. Such a gracious man who seems to really care about his fans. And so so pretty.
He's just a man. But he had a thousand-some strangers all united in a common bond, at least for a few hours.
WHEN YOU'RE STRANGE: A FiLM ABOUT THE DOORS
Is opening today - so if you're in or around one of the cities listed in the picture above, you definitely need to go out and see this (and give a big middle finger to Oliver Stone). Since it's a limited release, the film needs plenty of support early on so it can keep opening in more and more towns across the U.S.
This is the real deal - no Val Kilmer, no actors - the real Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Ray Manzarek, and Robby Krieger. They even dusted off old 35mm negs from a film Jim was working on but never finished and tossed it in this doc, it looks incredible.
I plan on going at least twice this weekend - you should too.
BTW I shot this photo at Club Nokia last year when Manzarek-Krieger came home to Los Angeles and played. Other photos from this night in my stream if you're interested, or just take a look through my "THE DOORS" set. Even better, take my LA Doors Tour.
