When my sister died, Cynthia took Joel to her house because I knew that I wasn't going to be able to take care of him. Before my sister got him, he was in his cage for more than a year, never held or talked to or played with. And at my house he never recieved much love either, because Tayler was not a patient person, and he required a lot of patience. haha. So Cynthia has had him for about 2 and a half years, and he is doing so great. He looks healthy, he loves Cynthia, and can talk now, A LOT. haha.
Joel relapsed not once but twice, he had radiotherapy & chemo but the only chance he had was for a bonemarrow transplant, None of the family was a match so we did our own bone marrow drive. We got a 100 per cent match but it was too late. Joel passed away 10th Nov 08 aged 6.
