This will probably become the most photographed Parasitic Jaeger in Santa Cruz County history. A few days ago two of these birds came in to roost on Seabright Beach, a heavily used beach in Santa Cruz. They're still there despite people, dogs, and other hazards.

Long-tailed Jaeger (Stercorarius longicaudus), taken at the El Dorado playa (usually a dry lake bed), south of Boulder City, Nevada.
This bird is a Nevada review species.
This is a juvenile bird.
