Back to lighting this sucker. I tried .avina's technique and I am closer than I've been before. It's kind of a straight up product shot, anything I tried to add to make it more creative was poorly lit.

Strobe #1: 580 Ex directly behind subject, 1/64 power, through snoot aimed at label, 105mm. If you don't line the snoot up with the label, you get a bog old bright spot. Trigged by Phottix Stratto, set to "master."

Strobe #2: Nissin i866 1/64 power, 24mm, through 15" softbox, behind camera, pointed at subject. Trigged as slave from 580 EX.

Played with levels in Lightroom.

No need for a description here :)
