This is a series on stewardship. The artwork will only appear on screens. The theme of the series is that tithing is the one thing God tells us to test Him on.
We decided to check out the Old Idaho Penitentiary in Boise. It is one of the most famous and highly recommended tourist sights around. The Old Pen is a big territorial prison constructed way back in 1870 and was in use for over 100 years. This was when the West was wild. No coddling criminals back then; no country club prisons. It was weird standing in the room where convicts were executed.
On the plus side, a lot of photographers use the Old Pen for photo shoots - we might have to check into that in the future.
I took these photos in September 2014.

Some French tourists accidentally volunteered to demonstrate how prisoners were lashed.
Our guide described how one prisoner, sentenced to 25 lashes, was nearly dead by 16. The doctor ordered the lashes to stop, and the prisoner was sent to hospital where he spent 5 weeks recovering. He was then returned to the prison—where he got his final 9 lashings.

50006"Neptune" (aka 50007)is seen approaching the tunnel by the rifle range as it heads to Kidderminster a lovely idea to rekindle the memories of long lost friends....
It seems this building will no longer be actually used as presidential palace. It may become site for a new university. Travel to Georgia in october 2013
Hendrix is really excited for Diary of a a Wimpy kid the Movie to come out, but it is based on a kids book. I picked him up the original book when I was out today, I really want him to love reading as much as I do, so if he shows interest in a book, I will do my best to foster that. He can read a lot of the words himself, but we will, at least this first time, read it together.
Haven't been able to do much photography lately. This shot is from the archives. Can't really make up my mind whether I like it or not.
But one thing I know for certain - I miss the times when I could sit by the window to watch the rising sun and the reflection of the sunrays on the sea surface ...
It's all over the place. Any one piece by Chihuly is a marvel. But when you see a dozen in a short walk on the Las Vegas Strip, they begin to become repetitive.
Today it became clear that they didn't find any oil at all! Instead of oil...we had sewage waste flowing into the drum circle area!!!
Imagine.....we didn't know because...we don't know anything about oil in Avilion!
The Druids called for action upon hearin the rig was to be removed, and offered the Engineer help. And so it happened that a lot of people rolled up sleeves, took a shovel, mop or brush, and went to work. The end result? Look for yourself in the pics!

It's an age thing!!
Just discovered Í hadn't processed these!
But these were so bad, I hadn't intended to originally.
I knew there was a tunnel. But I had NO IDEA just how dark it was or how many planes were in it. I used up the flashgun batteries on the first 20-odd full power bangs and after that it just sulked in the corner.
These were at the stage where I almost couldn't see anything in teh viewfinder - It was a definite case of point 'n shoot.
