The Wander Inn is a traditional pub, a place to meet local people, enjoy good drink and good company while relaxing and socialising. John Aylward has been proprietor of the Wander Inn for over 50 years.
As George Bernard Shaw once said: "Like all young men, you greatly exaggerate the difference between one young woman and another". This pub is so named because some fool hanged himself over a woman many years ago in the mistaken belief that they were scarce.
An Irish pub, attractively bedecked in bunting. Renamed as TJ's Sports Bar, and since closed briefly but then reopened.

Irish pubs are everywhere so there's one in Florence as well. Not all Irish pubs have a Transformer in their upstairs window...
Even though Irish publicans moan about their drop in revenue, they still decorate their pubs in classy ways. I like the outdoor signage from Guinness because it reminds me of foggy memories foged alongside friends in pubs. [Another photo for Irish Typepad by Bernie Goldbach. Dublin, 2004]
