A ganger has his work interrupted by an inconvenient BB Pacific at New Milton on 27th December 1964. This loco, 34085 '501 Squadron', was a Bournemouth good'un despite the cloak of escaping steam on this occasion! At the regulator is Bournemouth driver Alf Boston.

On a recent early morning trip to Walthamstow Wetlands we interrupted this Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) fishing in an old Victorian well. Its grey colours really stood out in the low light amongst the duck weed (Lemna minor).

A seagull interrupts the sunset on Maine's Portland Head Light.

I'm sure this has happened to most people at one time or another, you're just getting to know a lady friend when the bear you live with bursts in without knocking cus he wants to show you something funny in the paper. Can't blame em though, it's been proven that bears don't understand basic social rules. Got bored and basically wanted to just do a page with no real point just flexing the drawing muscles and imagination. Iphone pic so as usual not the best detailed flick

The great thing, if one can, is to stop regarding all the unpleasant things as interruptions of one's "own" or "real" life. The truth is of course that what one calls the interruptions are precisely one's real life-the life God is sending one day by day: what one calls one's "real life" is a phantom of one's own imagination."

Photographed at the Bayshore Marina of Coconut Grove - Miami, Florida

For my regular morning road-bike ride, today I decided to take some photo gear in a backpack with me. Weather report was nice. On my way to Key Biscayne through Coconut Grove I had this awesome sunrise shaping up. My ride got interrupted to check out how I could shoot the scene. The marina is home to hundreds of little sailboats and the view was getting better by the minute. From experience I know that the window of opportunity to catch this scene and colors is very small. I basically shot from the best angle and view I had, and possibility to set up my little portable tripod. There is really not much mobility on the ground with road-biking shoes - lol! I was pleased with the potential outcome. The ride continued.... I might come back another day soon to shoot this location with more appropriate shoes.

Shot for HRD processing as a 7-captures series on Canon 6D, ISO 50, f/13, 19mm. Work completed in CS6.

my thoughts are odd but sometimes I can manage to scribble some words that actually make sense.

and sometimes that occurs at 11:55 pm, in the darkness.

please ask me questions about anything! I want to make a q&a video!

The day of your long trip, the pain and the tears are real. They are on a much deeper level when someone you love is leaving you for eternity. You can handle the leaving if you know that the separation is only an interruption and an awesome reunion is coming!

An oldie from New York - an Hasidic Jewish man in Brooklyn interrupts his worship to read something that's just been handed to him.

I believe the leather strap wrapped around his arm attaches a leather box to the upper arm that holds scrolls with verses from the Torah. There are several references to this box and leather strap (called Tefillin) in the bible.

A little gal was enjoying her breakfast along the streets of Cholan, HCM city, till I interrupted her.

Luckily, she broke off into a shy smile after noticing me. I left Vietnam with a good impression of the Vietnamnese people. They were polite and not over-friendly, not over pushy. Despite the recent history of war, I didn't feel much bitterness in the city.

I found the dissonance of human presence here interesting.

Tell me what you make of this. I'm rather pleased, but then again I wasn't expecting it to even be recognizable, so my view could simply be chalked up to low expectations.

As an aside, 3/4 of this roll was devilishly hard to scan. Quite irritating, if perhaps a bit predictable to the more established film shooters!

Given the excessive grain, I can only conclude it was very poorly stored. Thankfully it isn't objectionable here.

Fallen leaves interrupt the flow of the stream at Pearson's Falls just outside Saluda, NC. This property is owned and run by the Tryon Garden Club. They do an amazing job of keeping a little slice of heaven available to anyone willing to pay a paltry $3 fee.
