[The Pfau (="peacock") family of Wintherthur, Switzerland, were notable 17th- and early 18th-century potters, oven-makers and -painters. Five of its members active in their craft were named Hans Heinrich: Hans Heinrich I (1559-1636), Hans Heinrich II (1598-1673), Hans Heinrich III (1642-1719), Hans Heinrich IV (1672-1714), and Hans Heinrich V (fl. 1702-1740?).
