Plaque reads: "150 pound bronze cannon. This cannon, made by the domain Satsuma in 1849, had been mounted on the Fort Tenpozan, Kagoshima. In the early years of Meiji, the gun barrel was rifled by the Imperial Army Gun Park, Osaka. Diameter of bore: 290mm. Length of base: 4,2200mm." [sic.]
