Here is a copy of a letter dated3rd October 1987, addressed to Boyden International Coaches 88 Station Road Castle Donington Derby. Dear Sirs, Ithought you might be interested to learn that a Boydens coach is operating on the Mediterranean Island of Malta. I took the enclosed photograph on 1st of September near the Triton Fountain just outside Valletta City Gate. The coach built by Plaxton with a Bedford engine was operating on the bus service number 88 from Valletta to Zebbug. The vehicle now has the Maltese registration number EBY 477, but still has the Boyden name on the front. The windows at the drivers side display stickers for Alton Towers, Chatsworth, Museum of Brewing Burton on Trent and cheddar Caves Somerset. I spoke to the driver who said that he had purchased the vehicle from Treharris in South Wales. He was keen to hear about your firm and the places on the stickers.

YN03EOR is a Volvo B7R / Plaxton Profile C70F in what ithought was in operation with Warwickshire County Councils School bus fleet , but according to the legal lettering it is now operated by Johnsons the coach is again seen at Umberslade Farm photo taken 16/06/11

When I look on the right side I see life, I see people trying to take over, changing lanes and taking exists to their desinations.
When I look on the left side I see death, I imagine people in the graveyard. I see green trees and flowers. Total silence. I think how life has stopped there's no more options (changing lanes) but one way traffic. ~The End~
When I look on the back/rear side , it's neutral. I see people going both directions. Some will go to the right and take the highway, some will go to the left and think of their loved ones. Some will stop-by and pray. Some will meet them soon.....

Ithought these looked like little umbrellas. My husband said he's always called them Horseshoe Mushrooms. I have no idea what they are but I thought they were pretty. Looks like a little city on the side of the tree.
This abandoned ruin is not pretty, but i ithought it had an interesting look ...It looks beyond decayed! ...Someone left some freshly cut wood, along with other miscellaneous junk laying about. ..Near Mist, Or.

Jim was a WILDman in his day. I was in the 2nd ISU Jazz Band back in '71-'72 and it was a revelation just to hear him play. For years he led the top band in midnite concerts on Halloween and April Fool's Day. The band would come out dressed in drag, dressed in costumes, and the students would pack the joint, drunk. Jim would come out and throw candy into the crowd, and whip them into a frenzy. He always took some extended solos that were just sublime. A world class musician in a budget mid-level college. Thanks for the tunes, Jim!

I was checking if I had enough change for copies in the uni library tomorrow when Ithought, hey, let's take a photo. The result is this.
Taken today, although the plan stemmed from Saturday when I bought a pair of Trinny & Susannah's 'magic knickers'!
Interestingly, flickr's quotation when I was making the mosaic was:

Pros: great for keeping warm in winter (BIG pants!) Bottom very slightly lifted, I think. Felt more gathered in and confident. Also, good comedy value flashing my friends.
Cons: think because I'm short, the tummy control band was a bit high - didn't make a lot of difference! Also, constant checking of skirt length in case knickers on view!
Oh, for those of a nervous disposition, Ithought a silhouette would work well - I am actually wearing a black dress - no nudey shots! :o)
I don't normally take pictures of this sort of tat but Ithought it was interesting enough, especially as I had never seen a Havering-liveried vehicle - is this owned by the borough? LX03BTU is in Cornhill, queuing for the lights at Bank.
Also helping out on the 25 on this Tube strike day were at least two buses from Chalkwell of Maidstone.
this to me was the biggest challenge ever, since i am such a Waits fan. I had so many different ithoughts regarding Jerry's idea, but basically no time to do much.
Then i settled for the image you see in the comments, cause it was losely inspired by a Waits-like story I had read some time ago which talked about a prostitute in love with a guy and their very bad ending (she gets killed by a customer before they can run away and start a new life).
But after I finished to put the writing, I thought that:
-Usually Waits puts himself on the covers
-When he doesn’t, the covers depict non animated things (a house “Preservation”, a writing “The Black Rider”, “Big Time” and so on)
-I know the Parental Advisory label was recommended, but not one of the album I own (by Waits) has it, so I thought I could skip that one (I don’t know how to stick it basically)

the stevedores certainly don't mess around; pacific faithful docked less than two hours earlier. she departed 17hr after arrival. wellington harbour is a very different place to the one I encountered as a school-leaver in the mid-80's.

Had a appointment with the dentist today (Ithought so!) but he was on vacations and I got a proffessional teeth cleaning instead of painfully getting a filling replaced.
The lady gave me those tiny brushes to clean the spaces between the teeth with, because I said I can´t STAND that dental floss stuff! NASTY! I´m fine with the brushes. Actually I had planned to take a picture of the dentist chair, but it went so fast, I had no chance to do so.
In 1991 I rented two rooms from a farmer in the chen village, every household kept a watch dog, this was the neighbors dog, he understod that I was a foreigner so he never even looked in my way, I tried to treat him to some meat but he never touched it, he was indeed a very proud dog. I kept a cat for keeping the mice away and she had three kittens on new years eve. One day a village dog came strolling past our house on our territory so my cat attacked the dog riding her claws all over the dogs back, the dog went howling and run away, after ten minutes i saw him coming back again ithought that this dog must be crazy looking for more trouble, then he stoped and looked behind him. He had rounded up four more dogs to get back on the cat. I could not belive my eyes. then my cat came hurling out the tail and hair standing straight up, routing and screaming at a high pitch. the four dogs saw the fierce beast and run straight away while the dog who brought them was to busy looking forward had not seen that his mates already left him hesitated, but it was too late the cat was already fiercly scratching his back again. That dog never came back.

While I was waiting and watching the steam carts rolling by, I was reminiscing my amazing dim experiences I had at Hong Kong when I went there last late spring. Ithought out loud to my parents what I missed eating. And mainly thought of this. It inspired my parents and prompted them to order something similar and this is what the restaurant had.
This dish was the top 2 things I ate here. Fresh, puffy bread with a nice salty egg yolk custard. I wished the custard was smoother and creamier but this was pretty darn good and close enough to my HK dim sum experience for this bao.
