This is a Suzy Homemaker fridge from the 1960s. It will be in "Object Project," which opens next summer. Suzy Homemaker toys helped girls practice homemaking skills, an idea that was often questioned with the rise of the women's movement. Found this totally adorable toy stove at a yard sale today for only 25 cents! I will probably have to get rid of it though coz I have no place to keep it.

This is looking toward the front door of the house, with a second dining area on the left. I love that sconce and lounger! The furnishings were supplied by Cullimore's Home Furnishings, which remained in business on NW 23rd Street in OKC until the 60's.

Who says no one up-cycled in the '60s? These reindeer look like they should be on display at Pier 1 or Cost Plus. They are almost big enough to pull a sleigh, too.
