Between the National Park Service Administration office and the Ranger station was a tiny old house. I thought the door hinges were both decorative and functional.
Luis, on the other hand, suggested that I don't post it because it looks like something else. But let's not go there. :)
Very common problem with the original SX-70's. It still folds down properly so people sell it as being in good working condition.
Some people don't even notice when the hinge is off. Photos are off and out of focus.

rain stopped and temp warmed up enough to do some ravine cleanup this evening. piled wood, moved rocks, found old hinge.
One of the four hinges that hold the huge lock gates on the marina entrance. Visible now because the upgrade to the Marina (and surrounding areas) has started, in preparation for Hull's hosting of the Round-the-World Clipper Race later this year (2009)
Outer panels are attached with more than a hundred screws. To speed attachment and removal I opted for 3/8 in. long (stainless) Philips button head screws which are available from the local junkyard for $7.-/100. At this point the top hatch hinges are still attached temporarily with clecos.
