The hinge on my window looked great on a blurry green background. I was sitting in chair playing around with my camera and this is the result. It shows how much can come out of just turning my camera on.

LeanBake hinged boxes for bakery

It's set on 4 hinges. Screwing into the side of the plywood was pretty iffy, but it seems sturdy enough.

the hinge typeface is simply designed from the quartered geometry of a circle and line segment.

A hinge on they old shed but still doing a good job....

The hinges and doors must have been in place when the OB had the body painted. The hinges were primed and painted but the primer had not adhered well to the plated metal. I was able to scrap off all the paint with a hand chisel.

If the geometry was right (I didn't get as far as working it out) you could also make this design portable by hinging the back leg.

Using this design, you might also be able to flip the stand around and use it with the hinged support folded underneath for a shorter mini-stand.

The only chrome decorative hinges I've been able to find are considerably smaller than the brass ones. But I like them better than the butt hinges and they are cheap (65¢ each) and the doors are solid wood so they are fairly light. I think that if I use 3 or 4 per door it will all be fine.
