This guy collects specimins of animals for the museum. Sometimes it's helpful to be able to see the skeletal structure, so he puts bugs in to eat away until there's just a skelton left. The one he's holding was partially eaten and STANK.

Helped Mum set up the wedding today. But I can't post the photos up here until she's used them on her blog and website and whatever. So yeah. I thought I'd just take a few photos in all the reflective things I could find. Hahaha.. So No.1: dirty car window.

A helpful, perky clerk explained what these large, colorful chunks were: hand made soaps, cut to order- "like a deli," she said.. for soap.

As I was hiking through the park, I kept seeing little markers that said 'away,' and I had no idea what they meant. It came time to start heading back, and I kept following the trail map, but wasn't absolutely sure about going in the right direction until I came across one of these. I suddenly realized what 'away' stood for and I thanked the helpful little sign for reassuring me that I was going in the right direction.

Members of the Little Cousin Jasper Committee say hello! The LCJ Committee has been partering with the Rensselaer Library on the Riley Read for several years now.

We took the Westberg Trail up (no Girl Scout shortcut) and the Prater Trail on the way down (with Yvonne's Switchback).

This is without question the world's best sushi and sashimi. I had the sashimi bowl with tuna, perch (I think), some sort of fish paste and a small amount of roe. With a miso soup and green tea chaser, it was a tasty and filling breakfast.
