A slow shutter turned the crashing waves into a sea of clouds on Hua Hin Beach in the Gulf of Thailand.
Driving home after my weekly Current Events Discussion Group session. The winter sky and clouds are spectacular today!

The kid was made to bow to the monkery. (Monkeys are believed to be incarnate of Lord Hanuman). An opportunity taken by a man to relieve himself on the wall in the background coinciding , makes a truly unique moment!
Back from my holidays in the wonderful North of France (Pays de la Loire to be precise!).
Being in the middle of nowhere meant I had the opportunity to take some photos of the Perseids and the Milky Way!
I've called the photo 'Heavenly Symbols' because, shooting stars, the Milky Way and (more obviously) the cross can have religious symbolism!
For me it was just a wonderful night under a sea of stars!!

I've had this ornament since I was a child. It has seen better days, lol. The tip of one angel wing is chipped, the paint and details have aged, and she sits crooked on her piano stool. : )
CC Most Versatile - Try Something Different
I cut a small hole in a ziplock bag and placed it in front of the lens for a soft, dreamy effect.
Restorative locations are so important for us humans. They help us to become more grounded and to be able to forget the hassles of daily life, work, bills and chores. There is certainly something about the west highlands of Scotland in particular that I feel calls me to visit. With views like this, can you blame me?
Memories of an almost summery day in April. I visited the local botanical garden that day with the only intention to take some photos of the blooming wisterias there and they looked stunning.
The first time I saw a blooming Hellebore I was certain someone had replaced the flowers with tiny pink and green sculptures.
Wikipedia states "The flowers have five petal-like sepals surrounding a ring of small, cup-like nectaries which are actually petals modified to hold nectar. The sepals do not fall as petals would, but remain on the plant, sometimes for many months. The persistence of the sepals may contribute to the development of the seeds."
