This is a single exposure. Sometimes the wave surge pushes so much spray into the air, its still coming down after the wave has subsided
And yet again another picture of the stunning view from Passo del Lupo. I'm sorry, I can't help it but post a thousand pictures of the same spot!
But how can I resist? It's so beautiful and eye-catching!

Walking around Coniston and returning from Tarn Hows in the English Lake District, I came across the Tom Gill, a steep gully with many beautiful falls.
I've taken the plunge and ordered the new Mavic Air. How about you?

A memory of light - Galad :)
Last week I had the pleasure to meet for real a fellow Flickr enthusiast that I had virtually met a few months ago. lorylillo Galad Bianconiglio ;-) she's not just a very talented photographer but also a wonderful person. In the few hours that we managed to spend together we were greeted by this nice sunset and had a lovely talk.
The Rock Bridge is a wonderful natural granite formation at Spitzkoppe in Namibia. And the views at nighttime are just spectacular. Heavenly, even.
My first attemp at growing agapanthus. Only one flowering stem this year but hopefully lots more next year.
The West Coast of Scotland at this time of year is wonderful for colours just as soon as we lose the grey that is more commonly associated with weather systems that remove almost all colour from everything. Today was one of those days where the weather was behaving and Mother Nature was assisting with painting the landscape with beams of sunlight from the heavens.
Wanting your love to come into me
Feeling it slow, over this dream
Touch me with a kiss
Touch me with a kiss
Now you're above feeling it still
Tell me it's love, tell me it's real
Touch me with a kiss
Feel me on your lips
'Cause this is where I wanna be
Where it's so sweet and heavenly
I'm giving you all my
Giving you all my
Giving you all my love
Giving you all my
Giving you all my
Giving you all my love
All my love
Needing you now to come into me
Feeling it slow, over this dream
Touch me with a kiss
Feel me on your lips
When you're above feeling it still
Tell me it's love, tell me it's real
Touch me with a kiss
Touch me with a kiss
'Cause this is where I wanna be
Where it's so sweet and heavenly
I'm giving you all my
Giving you all my
Giving you all my love
Giving you all my
Giving you all my
Giving you all my love
All my love
And when you're far away
I still feel it all
And when you're far away
I still feel it all the same
And when you're far away
Far away
I'm giving you all my
Giving you all my
Giving you all my love
Giving you all my
Giving you all my
Giving you all my love
Earthly Bishops may think they can deconsecrate a building, but God's heavenly light still shines on this place. The work of generations in building this church involves more than stone and mortar. The tears of the little community at Ross at the news this church was to be sold, did not overwhelm them however.
A few communities in Tasmania have organised to raise funds to buy back "their" churches from the corporate entity that was originally gifted the land by the Crown. Like all these churches it was built by the donations of faithful parishioners, but now to be used to raise funds for consolidated revenue. I hope Bishops sleep well at night.
If you would like to help the Friends of St John's Church please visit their website and make contact. They would appreciate any assistance you can provide. www.stjohnsross.com.au/fosjrfundraising.html
So this photograph is dedicated to the faithful souls at Ross and their beautiful church building. May the light of Heaven continue to shine for years to come. This is something no mere mortal can take away!
Just love this, taken at the Seven Sisters national Park in Sussex, on the south coast of England, it looks as if the tree is bending to the will of the heavens above but the wind really is gale force coming off the sea and that's why the tree is the shape it is!! taken on ilford 400asa b/w print film and scanned in!
