Climbers scaling some of the last features of Nevado Chopicalqui, in Peru, at sunrise. Altitude was about 6200m (20,300ft) and the highest peak of Peru, Nevado Huascaran, was visible in the background.

On the old one they drilled through this piece to mount a headlamp; which eventually caused mechanical failure--it cracked, and the crack spidered out. To avoid that problem, this one was cast with a mounting plate.
This thing is cast iron, and it weighed enough that I couldn't budge it. I'm a bit wispy, it's true.
