Perfect for neighborhood driving, this sleek, all-electric hatchback produces zero emissions and can drive 60+ miles on a single 8-hour charge. You'll have a ball in this mean green cruising machine as you drive past your local gas station and laugh at the sky-high prices. Plus, and we can't stress this enough, it's really, really fun to drive. www.ggtelectric.com

...because a little power is all yer gonna get! The 1.2l four puts out about 80-85hp and is mated to a well geared automatic transmission in this car (it's slated to be a fleet vehicle). I'd certainly recommend the manual transmission if one was to buy this. The car is quick enough around the city and runs well up to 110kph (about 70mph) after which it starts running out of breath. It typically shifts at around 3000rpm and cruises at highway speeds at around 2000rpm. The engine sound is a mechanical drone, rather like an unladen wood chipper. I'm used to the American V8 myself!
